Former Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch welcomed Pete Carroll to the silver and black in the perfect way

Monday for the Las Vegas Raiders was the start of a new beginning. The Raiders have been through and heard that phrase many times before, especially over the last six years or so. Well, actually, over the last 20 years, considering that's the last time they won a playoff game. But, this time really does feel different.
On Monday, it was the first day Pete Carroll and John Spytek would be on the clock at their new jobs. Part of the first day is meeting everyone, checking out office space, and of course, talking to the media for a few hours. The media portion is usually the best way for fans and media to get a good feel for whether the hires were smart or not. The way the hires talk to the media and about their past and future should tell you a lot about what they can do for the franchise.
And, Carroll and Spytek showed us and told us everything we needed to hear.
During the middle of Carroll's response to a question about the fan base and the city, one of his former players in attendance let out one of the biggest Raider chants you will hear. So much so, that it froze Carroll up at the second, and then he called the player out for it.
"Here in Las Vegas, to do it in this setting, wherever our fans come from, we do want to fill our stadium up with our guys… " (loud RAIDERS chant breaks out, Carroll laughs and tells Marshawn Lynch to calm down.)
Lynch, a former Seattle Seahawks player under Carroll and a former Las Vegas Raiders player, showed some pretty awesome support for his former coach at the press conference. And, it was a pretty memorable moment, too.
Now, maybe we will see Lynch hang around the team even more. He already was at a few home games this year, maybe now he'll show up to some practices and hang out with the team.
Las Vegas Raiders are set to make NFL history in 2025 with Pete Carroll and 2024 hasn’t even ended yet
The Raiders don’t seem to care.
