The Las Vegas Raiders are in Southern California holding training camp in Costa Mesa, just 30 miles away from where head coach Antonio Pierce grew up. So, this is a bit different for him, and he talked about that extensively during his press conference on Tuesday.

But, training camp is where the real work gets started. It's where the team starts their 2024 season, because now, every week, they will have football. The pads aren't on yet, and won't be till next week, but this is where the real work begins. And, on Wednesday, everyone got to work, not just the rookies, who have been in SoCal the last few days.

The Raiders kicked things off on Wednesday with some individual stuff. They aren't getting directly into the nitty gritty but did do a few of that on Wednesday in terms of 7-on-7 and 11-on-11.

When the individuals started, which was the first thing on the list for the day, two players in particular were already going full speed and did not ease into it at all. Both Maxx Crosby and free agency addition Christian Wiliins were getting after it.

Now, you may think this is an exaggeration but look at the difference in speed and technique between those two guys and the others. It's not really close.

And, this is what Crosby is known to do. He goes 100%, even when it's not needed. The dude is a freak, and he said it best after practice:

"A lot of people say they like it or love it – I live it."

The guy is just built differently. And, now we are going to get to see that side of Wilkins, too.
