The Las Vegas Raiders are known for having an amazing fan base; in fact, they have one of the best fan bases in the entire league, if not the best. Think about a team not winning a single playoff game in over 20 years. That's the Raiders. Yet, they show up and are from every part of the world, really.

The Raiders are one of the more recognizable brands in North American professional sports. Because of that., the players really feel what it means to be a Raider. It's different than almost any other franchise, mainly because you have the Nation behind you with very big expectations, and they are ride or die.

Maxx Crosby, who is the Raiders' best player, knows what it means to be a Raider, as he displayed that several times this last season playing through an injury. But he also knows what it means to Raider Nation, and they mean a ton to him.

"I have been a captain for three years now," Crosby said on a set of a Super Bowl show last week. "I have been in the building probably more than anyone. I'm passionate about being a Raider. I'm passionate about winning. I want to win, and I don't want to do it for any other team. There are 31 other teams, but there is only one #RaiderNation… That's why I have the shield tattooed on me. That's why I am the way I am."

If there is anyone in today's era who is similar to a Raider of the old days, it's undoubtedly Crosby. He gives off those vibes that he is everything those teams were, and that's why fans love him so much. That's why Raider Nation will always have his back.
