Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tom Brady Quarterback

After months of having a dream we all somewhat knew wouldn't ever happen for the Las Vegas Raiders, now we can finally let it die.

That's right, Tom Brady won't be playing quarterback for the Las Vegas Raiders, or any team for that matter, anytime soon, and possibly ever. He recently was on a podcast and let everyone know he is officially done with football.

This all stemmed from a few different things. First, there were rumors that when the offseason first started, the Raiders would be targeting both Brady and Aaron Rodgers. Obviously, neither of those happened, and instead, they got the next best thing – Jimmy Garoppolo.

Just kidding, obviously.

But now there is a new problem. Garoppolo is actually hurt still, and if he doesn't pass his physical, his contract will be waived and the Raiders will be stuck with Aidan O'Connell and Brian Hoyer.

Because Brady is trying to get in on a deal as being a partner in the ownership of the Raiders, people seem to think he would play for them. However, the league owners won't let him become a part owner and be eligible to play. They will not allow it and won't sign off.

So, can we finally put this thing to rest?
