The Las Vegas Raiders finally did it. They finally fired both Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler. They did so on a Tuesday night, just a day after a somewhat embarrassing loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.
Maybe the fans finally got through to Mark Davis when yelling at him to fire Josh McDaniels.
Now, for a lot of people, the question is who would the interim head coach be, which is a very important job. When the Raiders fired John Gruden, it was Rich Bisaccia who led the Raiders to the playoffs.
This time, we will see if the interim coach can. That guy will be linebackers coach Antonio Pierce, who is the perfect guy to lead a group of men. If you want someone to get your guys to play for you, Pierce is the guy to call.
Pierce has been the linebackers coach for two years now, and in 2021 was the defensive coordinator at Arizona State.
