The Las Vegas Raiders now have their full 2025 NFL schedule, and with that, we can kind of put together an idea of how we think their season will go. But, more importantly, we get to watch all of the schedule release videos around the league.
Last offseason, it was Antonio Pierce standing in front of Allegiant Stadium bringing together the Los Angeles part of the fan base, the Oakland part of the fan base, and the Las Vegas part of the fan base. It was a pretty cool video.
This year's video was a much different one and just overall a different vibe. It had the appeal of the show The Office, where a camera follows around various people in the front office of the Raiders at their headquarters in Henderson, Nevada. They even had the little white font that matched what The Office does.
Over the years, the team that has likely won the social media battle when it comes to these videos is the Los Angeles Chargers, and I think even some of the Raiders fan base would admit that. They truly have mastered the art of social media.
But, this year, I think it's pretty obvious that the Raiders got them in their video, and, their other two AFC West rivals. This new regime is getting the 2025 iteration of the rivalries kicked off in the right way.
For the Chargers, the Raiders showed off their three Super Bowl trophies, mentioning that one of them was won while in Los Angeles, and then mentioning that only one of the three teams to ever play in LA has never won the Super Bowl. That is, of course, the Chargers.
As for the Kansas City Chiefs, theirs was, of course, refs doing a magic show with phantom flags, because that's what has been the discourse over social media the last few years.
The video was very good, and the Raiders should be ready for this to only get better every single year.
