The Las Vegas Raiders just made a huge move that will hopefully help them in 2023.
It's no secret the Raiders' defense could use as much help as they can get, which is exactly what they are trying to do after their latest move.
The Raiders made a splash move in free agency as they signed former All-Pro cornerback Marcus Peters to a one-year deal.
Their defense is terrible, and the secondary is the group that needed the most help. They are young, inexperienced, and don't have a ton of skill. Bringing Peters on would be a huge help.
Peters can be the veteran presence they need and still bring skill and talent to the team too. He isn't young anymore, but he isn't a bad cornerback. With what was available, the Raiders made the right decision.
