There is some more drama, or fuel to the fire, with the Josh Jacobs news. It's almost as if the news and drama don't stop coming.

Jacobs, who has yet to sign his franchise tag tender and isn't currently under contract by the Raiders, is holding out of training camp. However, there was a report that he could return before Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.

Jacobs, who tweeted then deleted that he never said that, could be on another team right now.

According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Raiders received interest in a trade for Josh Jacobs from the Miami Dolphins, who failed to land Dalvin Cook.

The Raiders said no, which should only give fans optimism that the Raiders do indeed want him in town. If they didn't, they would have pulled the trigger on a deal that would have probably worked in their favor.
