The Las Vegas Raiders have a much better roster than some people realize. You see these aggregation sites and other outlets posting their rankings of the best rosters in the league, and many of them have the Raiders very far down the list. But, the roster is much better than it was last year, and with a much better coaching staff, it can be maximized much better, too.

This team is fairly young when you think about the pieces they have scattered around the core. And, even some of the guys on the core haven't had their max potential reached yet, either. There are a lot of talented guys on the roster who have a chance to have their best season in 2024.

In fact, there are at least three players that I think have a chance to make their first-ever Pro Bowl in 2024.

First-time Pro Bowlers in 2024 for the Raiders

Robert Spillane, LB

Year one in silver and black for Spillane was great. He played much better than anyone thought he would. No one expected him to come in and have the amount of takeaways he did, and be a leader of the defense. He made game-winning plays, and was a vocal part of the defense, making sure everyone was in their spots. And, hey, that was year one in the Patrick Graham defense.

Year two in the same system can be even better. If you ask me, he maybe should have become a Pro Bowler last season, but, because there are only two positions on each team of the Pro Bowl team, it's much harder at the linebacker spot to make it. But, he was definitely worthy of the accolade and will be in 2024.

Zamir White, RB

It's pretty obvious why White has never become a Pro Bowler before – Josh Jacobs being in front of him was a huge roadblock in getting this guy to maximize everything he can be for the Raiders. Once Jacobs was hurt and missed some games, the Raiders relied on White, and he came through big time.

Against the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day, when the offense couldn't complete a pass for three quarters, who was there? It was Zues, who just kept running over the Chiefs' defense time and time again. He has the potential to be a great running back in the league, but, we have never seen him play a full season, let alone half, so there is a little more unknown with him.

Malcolm Koonce, EDGE

When you play on the other side of Maxx Crosby, it's easy for you to go unnoticed. He started the season a bit rough, but once he got comfortable, Koonce quickly became the best unknown edge rusher in the league. Towards the end of the season, he was the perfect running mate next to Crosby, as he would consistently win his rep.

He's a player that the casual fan really doesn't know about, but they should. With the help of the Raiders' crazy fan base, he could have a good shot at getting into the Pro Bowl. Koonce is also entering a contract year, so expect him to go crazy in 2024.
