The quarterback position for the Las Vegas Raiders has been discussed plenty this season. Over the last couple of years, fans have argued about the future of Derek Carr.
Should the Raiders move on or keep him was their starter?
During this past offseason, the Raiders doubled down on their trust in Carr. They traded for his friend, and top receiving target, Davante Adams.
This week, the Raiders face the Houston Texans.
Carr had some interesting comments about Houston during the draft that he was selected in years ago.
The emotional response from Carr makes plenty of sense. Playing for the same team that his brother played for would have been quite the story.
That being said, some fans may take his statement as regretful that he is now on the Raiders.
Those were not his intentions, but he was just being truthful about his belief that he was going to be the pick for the Texans.
Regardless, he is the Raiders' QB now. He will probably have that role for the foreseeable future considering the team's other moves.
