The Las Vegas Raiders and their quarterback situation just continue to get worse, and even worse than worse now. It was already worse because Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell are their two best quarterbacks. That isn't a great way to start.
Then you add in that both are hurt, with Minshew out for the year and O'Connell with the mystery of whether he will be back this week against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday. But wait, it gets worse.
Their guy to go on Friday if O'Connell isn't ready would be Desmond Ridder, the former starter for the Atlanta Falcons and practice squad player for the Arizona Cardinals. If not him, undrafted free agent rookie quarterback Carter Bradley.
But, there was an idea out there that the Raiders could go and get former New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. And while much of the fan base was split down the middle on whether the team should pursue him or not, the news came out that really shows where the Raiders are currently at.
According to Jordan Schultz, Jones has let it be known that he has no interest in the Raiders. He would rather play for a contender. This is beyond embarrassing for the Raiders.
A guy that his own team really didn't want him anymore, doesn't want the Raiders because they are that bad. Let that sink in.
Well, at least we can finally scratch off Jones from the list.
