The Las Vegas Raiders have been known to make some decisions about their ball club late at night. Last season they fired Josh McDaniels and made Antonio Pierce the interim around midnight. This time, it was offensive coordinator Luke Getsy.
And, his staff followed.
The Raiders later released a statement about some of the other decisions they made regarding their offensive staff. Let's just say this is the second year in a row that the Raiders have cleaned house of the offensive staff during the middle of the season, which isn't a good thing, but it's pretty crazy to think about.
The Raiders later fired quarterbacks coach Rich Scangarello and offensive line coach James Cregg as well.
As of right now, the Raiders may have the worst offensive line in the league and the worst quarterback room in the league.
This needed to happen. The Raiders have a bye week now, but next week they will play the Miami Dolphins, and then the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs.
Las Vegas Raiders have officially run out of patience with offensive coordinator Luke Getsy
It was bound to happen.
