The Las Vegas Raiders have now announced when they will begin their offseason workout program. This will officially kick off the Klint Kubiak era on the field.
The Las Vegas Raiders and every other team now know when they can begin on-field activities for the 2026 season. The schedule has not been released yet. Instead, the NFL has released the dates for minicamps this offseason and some other related updates.
Raiders and the NFL reveal important offseason dates
The Raiders’ offseason workout program starts on April 7. After that, they move to the Voluntary Minicamp from April 20-22. The OTAs run on May 18, May 20-21, May 26, May 28-29, and June 1-4. Mandatory Minicamp follows on June 6-11. Then, we all know what comes next: training camp, where the intensity really starts to kick up a notch.
This is when the official Klint Kubiak era really begins. The on-the-field aspect of this team starts now. Vegas will finally see how ready Kubiak is to lead as a head coach and what he has learned from all his past coaching stops.
“2023 is probably one of the most important years of my coaching career,” Kubiak said earlier this week regarding his time with the Minnesota Vikings. “Being in a similar offense, which I thought I knew a lot about the offense he was going to run, then I get there and I just see how advanced that it was with him, and the way that he can game plan as a head coach and still run the team, and the way that he delegates to his staff how aggressive he is on game day, how prepared he is. Just what a phenomenal teacher to get to learn from and a guy that was really hard on me in all the best ways and made me better as a coach, and I’m really grateful for that.”
As far as dates being released, the next time we have a situation like that will be the release of the 2026 NFL Schedule.
