The Las Vegas Raiders have a clear MVP through the first seven weeks of the NFL season. Running back Josh Jacobs is playing the best football of his career, and his value has been nothing short of special for the Raiders.

This season, he is breaking open games on the ground like a former MVP, Baltimore Ravens' QB Lamar Jackson.

Alongside Jackson and Browns' running back Nick Chubb, Jacobs is in the elite category form sparking big plays.

He's running with more intensity and explosiveness than ever before in his career. Under Josh McDaniels, the Raiders have a clear offensive identity. As of now, that runs through their star running back.

After not receiving a contract extension in the off-season, Jacobs is having a career season. The Raiders' RB will be in line for a new contract after this season if Las Vegas chooses not to franchise tag him. He will be getting a pretty penny, regardless.

Jacobs absolutely deserves it as he has kept the Raiders' offense afloat at times this year.

A bit of the credit has to go to the offensive line for the Raiders as well. They have been better than expected to start the season, and their run blocking has been quite impressive.

It is still an inexperienced group, but they seem to be messing well together to block for Jacobs.

Now, Jacobs will not win MVP this season.

That being said, seeing his explosive rushing plays in the same light as Lamar Jackson and Nick Chubb's is awesome for the Raiders.
