The Las Vegas Raiders are getting to work at training camp, as the pads are on, the work is starting, and soon we will know who the starting quarterback will be for Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. But, the team isn't going to rush the decision.
One way that would help them, is seeing what each quarterback does with their top options. So, getting second-team reps, or even first-team reps but without some of the better wide receivers. On Friday, both got a chance to throw to the ones, but without Davante Adams on the field.
That's because Adams was not there, not because he didn't want to be on the field.
And, don't worry, Adams had the perfect excuse to miss practice during training camp. I mean, come on, this is a guy who just doesn't miss practice, and he never stops working on his craft. Do you think he would really miss it for something that's not important?
