The Las Vegas Raiders won't just have it easy on Sunday. I know, as well as everyone else, that the Houston Texans are one of the worst teams over the last few years, if not the worst. However, they are getting better in a few different areas, and will not be a free win for the Raiders.

Both of these teams have just one win. The Houston Texans are 1-3-1 while the Raiders are 1-4, so neither is having the best season. But, I will say the Raiders' path to getting to 1-4 is a bit different. They have not lost a game by more than a touchdown all year.

The Texans, well, they have been blown out a few times, but also had close games. But, that doesn't mean teams should sleep on their defense and talent. I know the Raiders aren't.

"[They] have one of the fastest defenses I've ever seen," Derek Carr said. "They are punching balls out, they are picking passes off. The running back and the quarterback are really good players, good young players in this league. They have wideouts… It is everything I have ever believed about the NFL, the records never matter. You have to go play and earn your victories in this league."

Carr is exactly right when it comes to this league, as we could see anyone beat anyone. This isn't like college football where the same teams are at the top every year and they never get upset.

No, in this league, the Texans could beat the Raiders. I don't think they will, but they could, and Carr knows that too.

The Raiders know they can't take anything for granted, and can't treat this week any less than they would another week against a better opponent. In order to get back on track, you have to win every game from here on out, which starts with the Houston Texans.
