The Las Vegas Raiders are a day away from playing against the Denver Broncos in Week 12, which comes after a loss to the Miami Dolphins. And, losing is something they have been doing a lot lately, six in a row to be exact. And, the Broncos are good, so this game could very well be another loss. The Raiders are a very bad team, and they don't seem to be getting any better anytime soon.

This is the type of bad team that will get you the No. 1 pick in the draft. So, it would be smart if they would lose as many games as possible to do that. But, that won't always happen.

But before they play this game, one of their players gets some bad news that going to make his stomach hurt. One of their undrafted free agents was just fined by the NFL, and while it's not a huge fine, it's still money that is more difficult for him to make than maybe a guy like Maxx Crosby, who was also fined this week.

According to the NFL's Gameday Operations, the NFL is fining Amari Gainer, an undrafted free agent rookie linebacker who has played a significant part in the Raiders defense, was fined $4,454 for an unnecessary roughness (use of the helmet) penalty.

According to Spotrac, Gainer signed a 3-year, $2.8 contract. And, that's a lot of money, but break that into three years, and the $4 thousand he was fined isn't just pocket change.

The Raiders and Gainer, regardless of this fine, are getting ready to play the Denver Broncos, and after that have a difficult schedule with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, and the Los Angeles Chargers, who are all pretty good football teams, at least better than the Raiders are.

So, this is going according to plan in terms of the draft plan, but man, Gainer has to be sick on Saturday morning before the game.
