This week, the Las Vegas Raiders signed defensive tackle Marquan McCall to the practice squad. He is a young tackle who has played some games in his young career and could turn into something.

With that move, they were forced to let go of another practice squad member because each team can only have 16 players on the practice squad.

The Raiders announced on their team's Twitter, or X, account that they will be letting rookie defensive tackle and seventh-round pick Nesta Jade Silvera has been let go.

While the move is a bit of a surprise, it does feel like they will bring him back to the practice squad. They really like what NJS brings, or they wouldn't have drafted him. The Raiders also released CB Troy Pride from the practice squad.
