Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is in some hot water over the incident that transpired at the end of the 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football.

In case you somehow missed it, Adams shoved a media member as he walked off the field in frustration.

Adams apologized after the game for pushing the media member.

On Wednesday, Adams was cited for misdemeanor assault in Kansas City, MO.

No discipline for Adams has been announced by NFL yet. It's likely that the league was waiting to see if charges were filed before deciding on any punishment for the five-time Pro Bowl wide receiver (a fine and/or suspension).

Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels commented on the incident on Tuesday.

"I support Davante wholeheartedly as a human being," said McDaniels. "As a person, he's a great guy. I know that was an unfortunate situation. We obviously don't want any of our guys to be doing anything like that. He knows that. He's very well aware of that. But I know the person. I don't think there was any intent behind it, on his part."

"But whatever [the NFL] asks of us, whatever they need from us, obviously we'll comply. But we're kind of in a wait-and-see at this point."

Adams, who was traded to the Raiders from the Green Bay Packers during the offseason, signed a five-year deal worth $141.25 million after arriving in Las Vegas this past spring.
