No one knows what will happen outside of the Chicago Bears taking quarterback Caleb Williams No. 1 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, and that goes for what the Las Vegas Raiders may have up their sleeve as well. They need a quarterback but are in a difficult spot at pick No. 13.

If they want one of those top-three quarterbacks that every team without a quarterback wants, they will likely have to get into the top three of the draft picks. That's much easier said than done.

The top three teams desperately need a new quarterback, maybe even more than the Raiders do. That's where trading up gets tough. However, a recent report suggests it's not impossible.

According to NFL Network's insider Tom Pelissero, the Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn says it is a possibility they trade the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, but, it will take a lot.

The good thing about this for the Raiders is that they are desperate, and from what we have heard, they will be aggressive in trading in the draft. If they are trading up, it won't be cheap. I anticipate it will take at least two first-round picks—this year's and next year's—and possibly even more.

If you're the Raiders, the question now is, do you want to do that? And do you think it's worth giving up some of your future to do that? Yes, if you think the guy you get, which would likely be Jayden Daniels, is the guy for you, you do it every time for a quarterback.
