The Rush with Maxx Crosby

The Las Vegas Raiders have one of the most dominant defenders in the league in Maxx Crosby. And, everyone has their first experience with him, whether you're on the same team, a different team, the same side of the ball, or a different side of the ball. He is one of those players that you remember the first time you met him if you're another player.

And, that's mostly because of the aura he has as a player, and how he is respected by everyone. He is a dog, and his play on the field, along with his relentlessness and work ethic, are what make people respect him, even if they have never met him. So, everyone remembers the first time meeting him, similar to how everyone remembers the first time they met Kobe Bryant or some other athlete with that same mindset.

So, when another famous Raiders player like Richie Incognito meets Crosby for the first time, you know he will remember it. But, for Incognito, it was not what you would expect.

"My first experience with Maxx [Crosby], was coming around the corner in the Oakland locker room, and we had the janky speaker, and Maxx was just flowing on it. Maxx was just going hard on the flow. And I was like, 'Oh damn, this little white boy from Eastern Michigan can rap, bro.' Then later in the season, we played the Bengals, and he is just punishing them. And, I'm like 'Oh, wow, he can play. He can definitely play.' Then you have seen it the last couple of years come together, it's just dominant."

Now, who would imagine that was the first time the two met? And, that Crosby was actually rapping well, for what Incognito said, anyway. We know Crosby has this goofball side, but we also know he is a killer on the field. When practice comes, and the game comes, Crosby is a different animal, and the rookies have already gotten a first-hand look at that, too.

There is no laughing during the game. Crosby means business.
