Official Seahawks twitter account tries to troll Las Vegas Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty, but ends up looking silly
The Seattle Seahawks tried to troll Ashton Jeanty, but it just didn’t work.
There were a lot of ups and downs in the Las Vegas Raiders first preseason game of the season, and the first time seeing this new regime, and new look offense in action.
When it comes to the latter part of that equation, the Raiders were more than disappointing. The first team offense was sloppy and slow. They made too many mistakes, and hardly moved the ball at all. The good news is that, this was this teams first time ever going through these live game situations together against a team that isn’t their own defense.
You have to think, most of the time these teams have already held a joint practice by now — the Raiders have not.
But all of that is a different story for a different time; another story that fans seem to be a bit upset with, and it kind of branches off of that first story, is first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft for the Raiders, Ashton Jeanty, not playing well.
And, no, he did not play well, but he does not deserve much blame, if any. The kid will be good, don’t worry about that. The thing you should worry about, is how silly the Seattle Seahawks are making themselves look on social media while trying to troll Jeanty.

A great European philosopher once said, “Everyone’s acting tough while they’re up,” or in other words, it’s easy to talk trash when you’re winning. That philosopher now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Seahawks kind of did the same thing there, as they were winning big time, 16-3, when they tweeted out that their preseason running back, George Holani, a former Boise State Broncos RB, was the best RB out of Boise State.
“Some People are saying George Holani is the best RB out of Boise State.”
Shout out to Holani, because he had a great game — no one is saying that. Sorry, but he;s not even top four. Jeanty has the most yards of all time at Boise State, with over 4,769. Then it’s Ian Johnson, Brock Forsey, Jay Ajayi, and then Holani at five, with 1,200 less yards than Jeanty, and 24 less touchdowns.
I mean, if we’re going to troll, at least don’t blow the lead.
