Injury report observations:

  • Prior to Wednesday's practice, Patterson had been sidelined with a soft-tissue injury since mid-August.
  • Okudah has been nursing an ankle injury since Aug. 5. Falcons HC Arthur Smith told reporters on Wednesday that Okudah was "getting close" to returning.
  • Hodge had also been out with an ankle injury he sustained during Atlanta's second preseason game.
  • Smith gets a rest day a seasoned veteran, which Patterson also will typically get throughout the season.
