A Rams third-round pick already looks like a man amongst boys, according to Sean McVay

Blake Corum is already showing signs of being a true leader on the offense.

Sean McVay doesn't give out compliments easily.

However, running back Blake Corum, a Los Angeles Rams third-round pick, is already turning McVay's head.

"I’ve been pleased with a lot of guys but Blake Corum has really stood out,” McVay said. “Mature beyond his years. I love the way that he handles himself. I love even more how when there’s been a couple of things that didn’t go the way we wanted, how he responded the next play. The mental toughness that you see in him."

Corum won't be the starter at the kickoff of the 2024 season. The Rams do have a star in Kyren Williams. However, what Corum gives McVay's offense is a change of pace. A curveball. That will make all the difference.

Corum is a winning player who will have another chance at proving himself in training camp. Until then, he will keep McVay waiting and wanting to see more.
