The Super Bowl has officially concluded, marking the end of another tremendous NFL season. Teams are now shifting gears to the offseason, making plans for free agency and the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.

The 2025 season saw the Los Angeles Rams inches away from another potential Super Bowl bid, as they came this close to upsetting the eventual Super Bowl Champion Eagles. Now with another offseason where the team weighs the future, they have to find a way to keep the team in Super Bowl contention while also figuring out their future.

How can they use the 2025 NFL Draft to strike that balance?

Los Angeles Rams Post-Super Bowl 7-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 26: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

The Rams have to start finding more offensive playmakers with age catching up to Cooper Kupp and a lack of talent surrounding Matthew Stafford. They can't just rely on Puka Nacua.

Matthew Golden's name has skyrocketed up in conversations the last few weeks, thanks to some terrific play in the college football playoffs. He has a knack for getting open with ease, catches everything, and is a talented blocker. The Rams need that kind of outside receiving threat to open up the offense, and Golden fits what they look for to a T.

Round 3, Pick 90: Gunnar Helm, TE, Texas

The Rams have put plenty of effort into improving their tight end room. They tried to trade up for Dalton Kincaid and Brock Bowers in prior drafts and invested a hefty contract into Colby Parkinson last year. With Tyler Higbee aging, I'd expect them to continue pursuing talent here this offseason.

Gunnar Helm is an intriguing do-it-all playmaker for the Longhorns. He's a capable blocker, but it's his work as a receiver that stood out this season, becoming a reliable target in the middle of the field, winning contested catches, and making plays after the catch.

Round 4, Pick 126: Chase Lundt, OT, UConn

I expect the Rams to bring left tackle Alaric Jackson back, pairing him with right tackle Rob Havenstein for at least one more season. However, the right tackle spot long-term feels wide open given Havenstein's age and recent durability concerns. They should look to add a developmental target behind Havenstein to take the reigns eventually.

While Chase Lundt needs to pack more weight on, he's an awesome athlete with gifted movement skills. With his tools, he is one of the top developmental options in this offensive tackle class.

Round 6, Pick 192: Zeek Biggers, DT, Georgia Tech

The Rams should continue beefing up the middle of their defensive line, especially with Bobby Brown III a pending free agent. The team's defensive line is mainly made up of smaller pass rushers, leaving them open to more physical rushing attacks.

Zeek Biggers drew plenty of eyes with his work at the East-West Shrine Bowl this offseason. He's an athletic marvel at his size who brings intriguing tools and power to his game.

Round 6, Pick 203: Bilhal Kone, CB, Western Michigan

It seems evident that the Rams will likely roll with Darious Williams and Cobie Durant starting at cornerback next season with Quentin Lake handling the nickel, but their corner depth behind this group is razor-thin.

Bilhal Kone is a smooth, instinctive corner who could carve out a good chunk of snaps in the Rams' secondary in the future.

Round 6, Pick 204: Teddye Buchanan, LB, Cal

The Rams haven't invested a draft pick at linebacker since they drafted Ernest Jones in 2021. We saw how that turned out this season with one of the worst rooms in the NFL. Maybe they'll take steps in figuring that position out this season, but I wouldn't expect them to be aggressive until proven otherwise. If they do invest here, I'd expect it to be with one of their last picks on Day 3.

Teddye Buchanan stood out at the East-West Shrine Bowl and has the instincts to be a nice coverage linebacker in the NFL. He'd give the Rams a playable option in sub-packages, something they lacked after trading Ernest Jones for pennies in the offseason.
