Matthew Stafford did it again.
This time on Thursday Night Football.
The veteran star led the Los Angeles Rams to a 30-22 win over the New Orleans Saints, putting them in the driver's seat of their playoff destiny. In the game, Stafford threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns, putting the final touches on what has been a historic December for the ageless wonder.
How good is Matthew Stafford?

Stafford also joined a rather selective group of quarterbacks after the game. The 35-year-old became only the fourth quarterback in December to throw 10-plus passing touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Also in that group are Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees. Not bad company.
Striking about Stafford's December is that his performances have come in games the Rams absolutely can't afford to lose.
The Rams went 3-1, while Stafford averaged 289 passing yards a game with a 112.4 passer rating.
With the Rams winning after a slow start, it could be debated that he should be an MVP candidate.
Now, he won't realistically get in the conversation because the NFL grades MVP awards on wins, but there is no doubt he is deserving.
On Thursday night, Stafford played like an MVP. He's captained the Rams' offense further than most thought he still could.
With the playoffs now within grasp, Stafford has joined a group of quarterbacks that defined the NFL for nearly two decades.
