There is no need for debate, Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua are one of the league's best quarterback-wide receiver duos in the NFL.
At least Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb thinks so.
On a recent episode of The Edge, a podcast by Micah Parsons, Lamb gave his list of best quarterback-wide receiver duos – naming Stafford and Nacua among the elites.
Lamb's list was a short one:
- Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and receiver Ja’Marr Chase
- Miami Dolphins’ battery of Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill
- Dallas' Dak Prescott and Lamb
- Stafford and Nacua or Kupp
"Puka’s smooth, man,” Lamb said.
Nacua's rookie season was one for the books. He broke the rookie record for receptions and receiving yards on his way to coming in second to the Offensive Rookie of the Year voting.
Stafford also had a resurgent season with his bolstered receiving class, coupled with the breakout performance of Kyren Williams, the Los Angeles Rams' second-year running back.
Heading into 2024, the Rams are sure lucky to have one of the league's elite quarterback-receiver duos. It is one thing for the media to call a duo elite. Stafford and Nacua command respect from their peers. It's just different.
Kyren Williams proved the Rams right in more ways than one heading into NFL offseason
When the Los Angeles Rams shipped off Cam Akers early in the 2023 season, the decision was made to trust Kyren Williams.
