The Los Angeles Rams offense is going to have at least one significant change this offseason.

It has already been announced that the team and Cooper Kupp are working together to find a trade partner for the wide receiver. On the bright side, all signs point towards Matthew Stafford being back under center for the Rams. But they will need to add another pass catcher to take some of the load off Puke Nacua.

"The Rams were one of a few teams who tried aggressively to trade up for Brock Bowers last year. Matthew Stafford is set to be back in 2025, and it has already been announced that they are expected to move on from Cooper Kupp this offseason. So, landing another weapon for Stafford that can take some of the weight off Puka Nacua's shoulders needs to be a priority. The clear second-best TE in this class is Michigan's Colston Loveland, who was held back in college due to their run-first identity."

It's well documented at this point that the Rams wanted Brock Bowers, as did so many other teams. Now, with Cooper Kupp on the way out, the need for another pass catcher has increased. This class has some exciting pass catchers at tight end and wide receiver. One of those players is Michigan's Colston Loveland, who was once viewed as the consensus top TE in this class. However, some have lowered them on their boards due to Michigan's lackluster offensive season this past year.

Loveland is a smooth route runner and possesses a high football IQ when plays break down. He honestly feels like the perfect safety blanket for a quarterback like Stafford. And a game planner like Sean McVay would make sure Loveland's full skill set is being utilized. I think this landing spot might be a match made in heaven, so now I'm prepared to get hurt when it doesn't come to fruition in April.
