The Los Angeles Rams are potentially getting the big boost they need to knock off the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 5.
Star wide receiver Cooper Kupp is expected to make his 2023 debut on Sunday against the Eagles. Barring any setbacks between now and then, Kupp will be out there in Week 5.
It is good news for the Rams who now add an All-Pro back to the field for Matthew Stafford to be able to utilize. Kupp only played nine games in 2022 due to injury and has been on the physically unable-to-perform list with a hamstring injury to start the season.
While Kupp was out, the Rams have had the breakout story of the season thus far with rookie wideout Puka Nacua. Nacua already has 501 receiving yards and will now get Kupp on the field to help take the pressure off of him. That has to be a scenario that head coach Sean McVay and Stafford are ecstatic about.
The Rams are 2-2 and the Eagles are 4-0, it’s a chance for Los Angeles to surprise a ton of people if they can pull off the win. Kupp will certainly be a boost in trying to make that happen.
Rookie phenom Puka Nacua is the storyline for the Rams through four weeks
It is a special start to the season.
