The Los Angeles Rams are hoping to spring an upset in Philadelphia to extend their season into the NFC Championship Game, and they have a very strong bill of health heading into Sunday's Divisional Round clash with the Eagles.
Tight end Tyler Higbee is off the injury report after suffering a chest contusion in Monday's Wild Card win over the Minnesota Vikings. That injury required a visit to the hospital, but Higbee is good to go.
Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon (thigh), nose tackle Bobby Brown III (shoulder), tackle Alaric Jackson (chest/knee) and guard Justin Dedich (illness) are all listed as questionable.
However, head coach Sean McVay provided a key update on that quartet, stating that all four are expected to play.
With Higbee, Jackson and Witherspoon all available, that means the Rams will have a key weapon for Matthew Stafford, a starting tackle and a corner who has gradually become an increasingly important member of their secondary at their disposal in their quest to upset the odds.
It was not all good news for the Rams, with defensive end Larell Murchison (foot) and linebacker Troy Reeder (hamstring) ruled out.
But overall it is an extremely positive injury report for Los Angeles. The Eagles, meanwhile, are in a similarly strong position, with defensive tackle Byron Young the only player who started the week on the injury report to be ruled out. He will be unavailable because of a hamstring injury.
The Eagles, though, will have some injury adversity to overcome following the loss of Nakobe Dean for the rest of the season with a torn patellar tendon. The return of Higbee improves the Rams' chances of exploiting that issue in the middle of the field.
