The Los Angeles Rams gave their season a lot of life last week with their primetime win over the Minnesota Vikings.

That victory owed a lot to the performance of wide receiver Puka Nacua, who returned from a knee injury with a performance that saw him record seven catches for 106 yards.

But he could now be heading back to the bench after a surprise update on Nacua ahead of Sunday's NFC West matchup with the Seattle Seahawks.

Nacua left Thursday's practice with a knee injury, forcing him to miss his weekly press conference.

Per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic, the injury is to the same knee he injured in the season opener against the Detroit Lions.

The 2023 fifth-round pick was listed as a limited participant in practice, but a true insight into the nature will not come until head coach Sean McVay speaks on Friday and the Rams' final injury report is revealed.

With both Nacua and former Offensive Player of the Year Cooper Kupp in the lineup last Thursday, Matthew Stafford enjoyed his best performance of the season, throwing four touchdown passes and finishing with a passer rating of 124.5, his best of the season.

Stafford is still capable of dissecting a vulnerable Seahawks defense even without Nacua. However, in a key division matchup that could see them move to the top of the NFC West with a victory, not having a dynamic receiver duo at his disposal would be a massive blow.

With the outsized influence Nacua has on the offense and the significant impact he could potentially have on the Rams' hopes of winning the West and going on a playoff run, his is an injury that — depending on its severity — could stall the momentum he helped give Los Angeles.
