Everyone wants the apples that fall from the Los Angeles Rams' Sean McVay coaching tree.

Following former Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris' hiring with the Atlanta Falcons, the NFC South foe is still poaching McVay's top assistants.

The Falcons are hiring Rams passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Zac Robinson as the offensive coordinator, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Saturday.

It is a move that will serve as a blow to Matthew Stafford, who went from looking one step toward retirement to resurgent in 2023.

However, for Robinson, it is a clear step up. In Atlanta, the former quarterback coach will get an opportunity to call the plays, something Arthur Smith did during his tenure as the Falcons' head coach.

Robinson has the necessary experience. He joined the Rams in 2019 as an assistant quarterback coach. During his time in Los Angeles, he has worked with Jared Goff, Stafford and Baker Mayfield.
