The 2023 NFL offseason and preseason have now officially come and gone. The Dolphins, like all other teams, will now have to work on getting their roster down to the 53-man requirement. After training camp and three preseason games, Chris Grier and Mike McDaniel have a better idea of who they want and will whittle the roster down from now until the deadline on Tuesday, August 29.
The following player(s) have been placed on injured reserve or PUP, which means that they won't count towards the initial 53-man figure:
- Nik Needham (PUP)
- Keion Crossen (IR)
- Eric Saubert (IR)
As they were placed on injured reserve before being placed on the active roster, Saubert and Crossen are done for the season.
