That was a first half to largely forget for the Miami Dolphins.

Between an offense that wasn't able to score at will against a struggling defense to a defense that let off huge plays to a backup quarterback, there was a lot that Dolphins fans would like to get back with those reps.

However, the immediate results of the game matter little for Miami with Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane leaving the game with injuries.

Hill is obviously the bigger story here as the most dangerous weapon in the league right now, but the loss of Achane as well earlier in the game stings after his much-anticipated return after a prior injury.

The loss of both players may not kill the team's chances in this game where they should still be the favorites, but the loss of either guy for a chunk of the season could prove disastrous.

It is hard to imagine this Dolphin offense producing at the highest level in the league without Hill during the most important part of the year. If there was a head coach that could make the most of the loss of a guy like Hill, Mike McDaniel is him, but that is still an extremely difficult prospect.

The hope is certainly that both guys will be able to heal up quickly and not miss much time over the rest of the year, but both players heading into the locker room as they did does not seem to bode well for the hope of extremely speedy recoveries.
