Jalen Ramsey wasted absolutely no time in reminding everyone why the Miami Dolphins gave up Hunter Long and a third-round pick for his services earlier this year.

The former All-Pro cornerback had one of the impact plays of the game in Miami's 31-17 win over New England.  With New England driving near the Miami red zone, Mac Jones lobbed a pass towards Kendrick Bourne.  Ramsey, who was playing in the deep part of the field in zone coverage, read the throw, broke on the ball, and took it 49 yards up the sideline.

That wasn't an outlier for Ramsey's performance either.  Ramsey was the highest graded player among both teams on Sunday, earning a 90.0 grade from Pro Football Focus, which included marks of 80.4, 75.4 and 89.0 in run defense, tackling, and coverage, respectively.

And it wasn't just based on a few plays or a reduced snap count to work the veteran star back from injury and get him up to game speed.  Ramsey managed to play in 49 of Miami's 53 defensive snaps, and he didn't appear to miss a beat.  Ramsey was only targeted three times and allowed a single catch – a 24-yard completion.

Miami had their struggles against two of the better offenses in the NFL in Buffalo and Philadelphia without Ramsey.  They will take on another on Sunday against Kansas City.  However, they now have a tremendous asset to deploy when they take the field in Frankfurt and try and stop Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Chiefs offense.
