Miami had a significant loss today with RB De'Von Achane being placed on injured reserve. However, another running back made his long-awaited return to the practice field.
Jeff Wilson, Jr. returned to the practice field today. Wilson was placed on injured reserve to start the season with ribs and finger injuries.

Wilson's return to practice today means the team has three weeks to active him from injured reserve. Tua reportedly said after practice today that Wilson looked "really good."
C Connor Williams and FB Alec Ingold both missed practice with groin and foot injuries. Williams managed to play all 54 offensive snaps last week against New York, so this could be just a case of the veteran managing a nagging injury.
OLB Jaelan Phillips was limited again by his oblique injury. He hasn't logged a full practice since Friday, September 22. A full practice before the end of the week might mean the third-year edge rusher could be ready to return and reclaim his spot, although that will pose any interesting situation for the coaching staff with Andrew Van Ginkel playing so well in his absence.
