The Miami Dolphins released their initial injury report for their Week 17 tilt with the Baltimore Ravens, and there was a rather surprising name included.
QB Tua Tagovailoa was listed among the injured with left thumb and quad ailments.

The news isn't overly concerning at this point. Tagovailoa was still able to get in a limited practice for the Dolphins on Wednesday. He was also able to lead the Dolphins on a game-winning drive against the Dallas Cowboys without showing any particular limitations in the process.
Concerns about Tagovailoa's availability should be assuaged pretty quickly. If he can upgrade to a full practice on Thursday, then he should very likely be able to enter the weekend without a game status designation.
The news is not as good, as expected, for Jaylen Waddle on Wednesday. Waddle, who is dealing with a high ankle sprain according to his head coach Mike McDaniel, appears to be a long shot to play, given the nature of his injury. However, McDaniel wouldn't rule Waddle out when he met with the media on Wednesday while also noting the receiver's toughness.
As such, it bears monitoring Waddle as the week progresses to see if he can find a way onto the practice field somehow, or if he gets ruled out on Friday.
