The stage is set for a rematch between the Miami Dolphins (8-5) & Buffalo Bills (10-3). With the AFC East crown on the line, the Dolphins need to win to stay within a game of Buffalo for the lead.
However, the home team getting will be getting a one-sided edge ahead of the game. This time, not coming from a player or coach.
Temperatures are expected to range from the low 20's to the low 30's with increasing levels of snow. Possibly reaching 14 inches!
According to CBS Sports, Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has started four games in his career at or below freezing temperatures. Going 0-4 in those contests, two of them coming at the hands of the Bills. In fact, Buffalo is 8-2 in their last 10 games in December, undefeated at home.
Completing only 54.8% of his passes for 844 yards, two touchdowns and five interceptions in those contests.
Tagovailoa has struggled in recent history on the road, late in the season. Especially against the Buffalo Bills. This game can not only be a stigma breaker for Tagovailoa but make this already tight AFC East race even tighter. Something the Miami Dolphins desperately need.
At the moment, the NFL has not yet decided if the game will be moved, just they did earlier this season, something the Dolphins are motioning for. Moving the Bills to Detroit for five days to roll over into Thanksgiving.
A decision to potentially move the game will come soon. As the snow levels increase, it will make travel near impossible in or out of Buffalo. Expect a decision before the end of Friday.
