The Miami Dolphins got some expected bad news, but some welcomed improvement on the injury front on Thursday.

Both starting guards Robert Hunt and Robert Jones missed practice for a second straight day, all but firming up their absence on Sunday against the Raiders.

However, the news was better for other starters for the Dolphins.  WR/returner Braxton Berrios returned to the practice field in a limited fashion, as did FB Alec Ingold and TE Durham Smythe.

Miami's running back tandem of Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane both again turned in limited practices for a second straight day.  An upgrade to a full practice on Friday should remove any doubt for Mostert's availability for Sunday.

Achane will still need to be activated from injured reserve by 4:00 pm on Saturday in order to be able to play on Sunday.
