It may be too soon to talk about the offseason, but QB Tua Tagovailoa's tenure with the Miami Dolphins isn't making it any easier.

Despite playing in what is undoubtedly his best season of his career, he suffered his second concussion of the year that has resulted in extended absence from playing.

Concussions are no joke and often the direct result of many careers cut short. A key reason why Tua's and the Dolphins is in question, and the season isn't even over yet.

Also a reason why NFL insider Ian Rapoport is already hearing rumblings of the Dolphins, among other teams, being interest in a familiar face of head coach Mike McDaniel.

San Francisco 49ers QB Jimmy Garoppolo is set to be a free agent this season following this season. Even with the inevitable QB controversy of Trey Lance and Brock Purdy, as well as the potential arrival of Tom Brady, Garoppolo is likely to be a hot commodity.

"I think he definitely would have had suitors this past offseason had he not been recovering from major surgery…  I think he’s going to have a lot of teams that are interested… Garoppolo’s going to be in a really good spot.”

If Garoppolo were to join the Dolphins, he would be reunited with McDaniel, who served with Jimmy G as his offensive coordinator in 2021, where they reached the NFC championship game together.

All of this is moot, however, until the offseason. In which the Miami Dolphins and Tua will all have to make decisions.

Decisions that will alter everyone's future's from the front office down to the players.
