The Miami Dolphins' 36-34 win over the Los Angeles Chargers was drive by Tua Tagovailoa's all-time performance. It did not get past the league's notice.
Tua was honored as the AFC offensive player of the week on Wednesday, the fourth-year quarterback's second time to claim the award.

Tua's 466 passing yards trailed only Hall of Famers Norm Van Brocklin, Tom Brady, and Dan Marino for the most in the league's history for Week 1.
Tua previously claimed the award in Week 2 of 2022. In a game not too dissimilar from last Sunday's classic, Tua led the Dolphins back from a 35-14 deficit in the fourth quarter for a thrilling 42-38 win at the Ravens. He finished with 469 passing yards and 6 touchdowns.
His second selection matches him with fellow Dolphins QBs Scott Mitchell, Matt Moore, and Chad Pennington with two each. However, with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and an aggressive passing attack, Tua will have a lot more opportunities to blow past that group very soon.
