Latest 2026 NFL mock draft offers the Dolphins an enticing menu of options with each of their first two picks
The menu looks great for the Dolphins at both picks No. 11 & 43!
The Miami Dolphins‘ 2026 NFL Draft isn’t just a collection of draft picks.
It’s going to serve as our first major assessment of the new front office that Miami will move forward with. It is an opportunity for Jon-Eric Sullivan and his staff to announce their intentions as a franchise. It’s going to be fascinating to watch. On the heels of the 2026 NFL Combine, the stock of the prospects available is going to start to shift, and the conversation of Miami’s outlook will evolve. We have already seen the shift start. One such projection offers a glimpse at the options Miami will have with its picks at No. 11 overall and No. 43 overall.
New 2026 NFL Mock Draft offers Dolphins plethora of good options with top-50 picks

ESPN’s Jordan Reid is one of the best in the business. I worked with Reid for several years, and there’s no person in the NFL Draft space whose opinion I’d rather hear. So when Jordan drops a mock draft, I read it. Expeditiously. Not just for the picks, but for the options at each selection.
Jordan’s latest is a two-round 2026 NFL mock draft, which sent Miami Hurricanes offensive lineman Francis Mauigoa to the Dolphins in the first round and San Diego State Aztecs cornerback Chris Johnson to Miami in the second round. Johnson, conveniently enough, was the first name I mentioned in Indianapolis when writing three defensive backs that should get mocked to the Dolphins more often.
The picks themselves are great. The options on the board in both spots are even better. Not only did Miami land Mauigoa in this mock, but the following talents were also on the board at No. 11:
– OG Olaviavega Ioane, Penn State
– TE Kenyon Sadiq, Oregon
– WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
– DL Keldric Faulk, Auburn
Favorable options for different pathways to building the roster. I do believe, based off positional value, Mauigoa was the right choice. I see Ioane and Mauigoa as similarly valued players but Ioane does not have tackle versatility, whereas Mauigoa is likely to live on the edge in the NFL.
Reid’s menu for the Dolphins at pick No. 43 in the second round is, in my opinion, more full of good options than the pick at No. 11. Here are the players available in Reid’s mock for the second-round pick, in addition to the actual choice of CB Chris Johnson:
– SAF AJ Haulcy, LSU
– EDGE Zion Young, Missouri
– EDGE Gabe Jacas, Illinois
– TE Eli Stowers, Vanderbilt
– CB Davison Igbinosun, Ohio State
– CB Keionte Scott, Miami
If the board were to break this way for Miami, the Dolphins would have an excellent opportunity to make the most important statement of all with their first few selections of this regime: they’re going to draft good players first and foremost.
