Fire at Tyreek Hill's house

Firefighters are battling a fire at the home of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, WSVN reports.

Hill was reportedly at practice when the fire starter and was made aware of the situation. He immediately left practice and returned home, able to get in contact with his family.

His entire family made it out of the house and are safe.

The firefighters contained the fire, and Hill is shown standing with his family across the street from the home. It was reportedly a two alarm fire.

Hill showed up in a boot, dealing with an ankle injury ahead of the Dolphins regular season finale.

Hill's agent Drew Rosenhaus spoke with reporters outside Hill's home on Wednesday afternoon, providing an update.

"So, number one, Tyreek was at practice. He and his family are safe. No one was injured. So we're very grateful. Very grateful to the firefighters that put the fire out. Thankfully the fire was contained to a limited area in the home. Obviously there will be some smoke and water damage, and it's very difficult for anyone obviously to have your home catch on fire, but Tyreek was handling it. He and his family were handling it with as much poise as you could home. He was very grateful to the firefighters and everyone that did indeed save his home. And at this time he's not going to comment. He would like for everybody to respect his privacy. Obviously (he) wasn't at the home. As far as what caused the fire, we don't know. There will obviously be some type of investigation and then we'll go from there. But thank God the family is great, the pets are safe, and we think that from there, the home, it was limited to one room. So there will of course be other damage, but Tyreek is going to be back with his teammates. He obviously raced over to make sure everybody was okay, but everything is under control right now. The Dolphins have been very supportive as well as all the authorities that were here and it was a very collaborative effort."

Rosenhaus was asked about who was in the home when the fire started, but didn't go into much detail. He simply confirmed that some of Hill's family was inside at the time.
