After the Minnesota Vikings 30-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, wide receiver Jordan Addison went to Instagram and posted a picture on his story with the hashtag #Free3. That sent waves throught the Vikings' fanbase that he might be upset with his role on the team.
Turns out that Addison has been using the hashtag since his days playing at Pitt and went again to his story to calm any worries from the fanbase.
This is something that happens from time to time with wide receivers. They can be big posters on social media and that can cause some panic. It happened with Stefon Diggs multiple times and he was traded after his fifth season in Minnesota. It's inarguable that some fans are scarred by this.
Addison's stats might not be as high as we all would like, but he is playing well when you look at the all-22. It's just more difficult when you have the best wide receiver in the National Football league on your roster.
Everyone can take a deep breath and relax.
