The Minnesota Vikings are taking on the Cleveland Browns in London on Sunday morning. The game itself could end up being a tough one with the injuries on the offensive line.

This is the final game before the Vikings hit the bye week, and they are in a place where they really need it, and it’s not just the injuries. They have a major issue with penalties and it needs to be fixed and fast. That starts now, but the bye week will be crucial.

On Wednesday morning, the Vikings released their first injury report of the week, and it’s a brutal one.

Observations

  • Darrisaw got his rest day on Wednesday after playing every offensive snap on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
  • Jurgens being on the list isn’t a huge surprise after he ended up in the medical tent during Sunday’s game. He did return and finish the game, but it’s a major concern. If Jurgens doesn’t play, it will likely be Blake Brandel getting the start.
  • Both Ham and Batty had their practice windows activated, and the former’s return could elevate the run game.
  • McCarthy still isn’t practicing, but the hope is that he returns later this week.

DT Mike HallKneeLimited
OT Cornelius LucusNot Injury Related-RestLimited

Observations

  • The absence of Garrett is a big deal. He didn’t play the last time the Browns were in London, and there is speculation among fans that he could miss this game. Other than that, there is zero indication of him missing the game.
  • Having both Collins and Hall on the list could be a problem for their defensive line when it comes to depth. With the Vikings having a banged-up offensive line like they do, it could alleviate the pressure with multiple players missing time.
  • Njoku is going to be a player to watch. He’s a pivotal piece in their passing offense.
