The Minnesota Vikings are all but dead in the water after a third-straight loss sent them to 7-9 on the season, but, that doesn't mean they are unable to finish the season strong with a win over the rival Detroit Lions.
A Lions win, coupled with losses from the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, would give Detroit the No. 2 seed if it were to beat the Vikings, so there's certainly something to play for in Motown. It's logical to assume Minnesota is hungry to crash that party.
With that being said, the team still has yet another decision to make at quarterback when it comes to who starts this game. Don't be surprised if that guy gets pulled during the game if things go awry, much like last week.
Regardless, will you be able to watch the game on TV? If you live in the red areas on the map below you'll get this game on your local FOX channels, according to 506sports.com:

The Vikings-Lions game (red) is competing with two other games during FOX's early slate, but as you can see, you should be able to watch it pretty much wherever you live. As long as it's not the majority of the Southeast/East Coast, obviously.
Regardless, if you don't live in the red areas, you won't be able to catch the game on local TV channels. Of course, there are plenty of other ways to watch in today's world. If you have YouTube TV, there's obviously the Sunday Ticket package that comes with it. There are other streaming sites such as FuboTV, DAZN, and others, as well.
And, if you don't want to deal with any of that – you can always listen to the game on the Vikings Radio Network.
Vikings defense is under the microscope against the Lions
Sure, subpar quarterback play has really hurt the Vikings over the course of their three-game skid, but Brian Flores' defense has hurt the team just as bad – if not worse.
Sure, injuries have played a big role in the decline, but it's still concerning considering how good the defense was playing during the middle of the season-up until a few weeks ago.
Whatever the breakdown may be, the Vikings won't stand a chance against Detroit if they don't get it fixed. The Lions plan to play their starters, so there won't be any kind of reprieve.
The Vikings are already out of the playoffs, pretty much, but things are officially done for 2023 if they can't get a win on Sunday.
