Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested for trespassing in the state of Florida on Monday morning. His attorney, Tim Younger, released the following statement on Addison’s behalf.

“On Jordan’s behalf, his legal team has already initiated the investigation, identified witnesses, and we are reviewing the viability of a claim for false arrest. He looks forward to the legal process and upon full investigation, we are confident Mr. Addison will be exonerated.”

Addison was arrested on Monday morning for trespassing at an address associated with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa Bay, Florida. He was released less than 12 hours later on a $500 cash bond.

This is the third legal incident of Addison’s short NFL career. He was given a citation for going 140 mph in July of 2023 before his first training camp, and in July of 2024, Addison was arrested and charged with two counts of Driving Under the Influence. Right before trial, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of wet reckless and was placed on 12 months’ probation, paid a $390 fine, and was tasked with completing two online courses.

Being that this is the third legal incident for Addison, it casts a dark cloud over his potential future with the Vikings. He is eligible for an extension, but this could make that a little more difficult.

As with any legal case, he’s innocent until proven guilty, and Addison’s legal team believes he will be proven innocent.
