Pro Football Network named the Minnesota Vikings this week as one of the top potential landing spots for one of the NFL's best players.

Minnesota could use some help at cornerback, which is why Pro Football Network thinks the Vikings should trade for Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

From Pro Football Network:

It seems like the Minnesota Vikings are always in need of cornerback help. But if we’re being realistic, that’s most teams in the NFL, as CB is one of the most difficult positions at which to find year-over-year consistently high-end play. Ramsey has provided that in spades for the Jaguars and Rams, and maybe now it’s time he does so in purple and gold.

Vikings cornerback Patrick Peterson is a free agent after Minnesota allowed his contract to void earlier this month.

Peterson is a guy the Vikings should want to re-sign, but allowing his contract to void (essentially allowing him to get a head start on free agency) makes it less likely that he'll return to Minnesota in 2023.

Landing Ramsey in a trade would give the Vikings a great replacement, but Minnesota will likely have plenty of competition from other teams that also want to trade for the superstar defensive back.
