Welcome to the beginning of the fifth-annual Minnesota Vikings NFL mock draft tracker!

Each year, I scour the internet for industry mock drafts to see what the experts predict Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah will do in the first round. Each year, it has grown, expanding to cover what the industry expects the Vikings will do, from the first day of the calendar year through the morning of day one of the NFL Draft.

  • 2022: 173 mock drafts
  • 2023: 545 mock drafts
  • 2024: 838 mock drafts
  • 2025: 656 mock drafts

To view the data from previous years, please refer to this spreadsheet. Over time, it has also been somewhat predictive of what the Vikings will do, especially in 2023 and 2024.

  • 2022: S Lewis Cine: 0 selections (trade down was the cause)
  • 2023: WR Jordan Addison: 52 selections (2nd)
  • 2024: QB J.J. McCarthy: 273 selections (1st), EDGE Dallas Turner: 44 selections (7th)
  • 2025: LG Donovan Jackson: 9 selections (15th)

What will the data tell us this year with the Vikings selecting at 18th overall, and how will things change? Let’s get it started.

Minnesota Vikings 2026 NFL mock draft tracker

Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson

Terrell has NFL bloodlines — his brother is former first-round pick A.J. Terrell. Avieon plays bigger than his listed size (see his 2024 matchup against former Stanford WR Eric Ayomanor). He can stay in phase on vertical routes, has good ball skills, and will try to bait QBs into making throws. In run support, he plays outside CB like a strong safety. – Wilson

Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU

Minnesota has some retooling to do on the back end of its defense, whether or not coordinator Brian Flores gets a head-coaching gig elsewhere.

Delane might have been the most competitive corner in the country last season and has been a tenacious on-ball defender throughout his college career, which began at Virginia Tech. – Baumgardner

Overview

With the first week being only four days, the sample size is limited, but it will grow substantially over time.
