The Minnesota Vikings have achieved a lot in the 2022 season. Winning the NFC North title, a top three seed and only the third 13+ win season in franchise history.
Of all the attention on the Vikings this season, the majority of the focus has been on WR Justin Jefferson. Setting the all-time record for most receiving yards in a players first three seasons, as well as finishing just shy of Calvin Johnson's single-season yards mark.
Leading a Vikings hoard of wide receivers in one of the most productive seasons in NFL history.
The rest of the NFL agrees.
The NFL Player's Association votes every year on their own All-Pro list. Compiled by current players in the league. Naming Jefferson a first-team All-Pro selection. The only Vikings player on the list.
It should be noted that this is not the official All-Pro team compiled by the Associated Press.
The respect Jefferson is getting from a successful season, leading the Minnesota Vikings to the playoffs as an MVP candidate is similar to how Cooper Kupp lead the LA Rams in 2021.
We all know how well that turned out. Are Jefferson and the Vikings in for a similar run on the way to Phoenix?
